If wearing Aerin Lauder’s new collection of fragrance helps me gain a little bit of her grace and modernity, then sold. Lauder is the founder and creative director of the eponymous beauty line AERIN, which continues to introduce beauty products that work for the everyday woman. She is beauty and business.
What’s different about the AERIN Fragrance Collection? The inspiration is based on emotion, lifestyle and aspiration taken from Lauder’s life and memories. The five scents—Gardenia Rattan, Amber Musk, Lilac Path, Ikat Jasmine and Evening Rose—are simply gorgeous. Good luck choosing just one. Beautifully packaged, each fragrance bottle is adorned with a gem-like stone in soft pastel shades and its carton features an exclusive Aerin for Lee Jofa design that reflects the bottle’s individual story. The collection goes on sale this month and each 50 ml bottle is $110.
Gardenia Rattan will whisk you to a carefree weekend on the beach. The main note is gardenia, with extracts of tuberose and tiare Tahiti for a hint of feminity, and amber to bring in warmth and texture.
Amber Musk is a cozy retreat during a cold snowy night. Ambrox makes a strong appearance, followed by a burst of coconut water and hint of rose centifolia absolute.
Lilac Path transports you to the country amid bloomed lilac bushes. Lilac brings a depth, heightened by galbanum. Jasmine, angelica seed oil and orange flower bring in a softness.
Ikat Jasmine represents the modern woman. A musing of jasmine sambac and jasmine Egypt, with an exotic touch of tuberose and a subtle intensity from sandalwood
Evening Rose is an evening in the city. Juicy blackberry mixed with cognac for voluptuousness; rose centifolia and bulgarian rose absolute for the elixir touch.
