By now, you probably have seen one of Heyman’s flashy and “dope” acrylic clutches, inspired by the glamorous handbag silhouettes of the ’50s and ’60s with clever use of words and design. In typical rockstar-girl fashion, Heyman wasn’t afraid to start Edie Parker, and says, “I left [Gucci] after I had my daughter, and I felt like I just made a person, I can probably make a handbag.” And it paid off; you can see everyone from Oprah to Paris Hilton sporting the glam clutches with varying words or names on them. “We get some strange requests.
