Charlotte Neuville Creates Divine & Fashionable Cakes

StylishCakes hc cCharlotte Neuville has taken fashion and art to a whole new level with very stylish cakes. Together with business partner and co-author Michael Coffindaffer, the team penned a gorgeous and very entertaining book titled Stylish Cakes: The Extraordinary Confections of The Fashion Chef (Harper Collins), available today, April 28, 2015. Below are just a few examples of the 239 pages of mouthwatering photography and personal stories.

Neuville is a former fashion designer, who traded in her high-fashion Louis Vuitton pumps for an apron, which makes her a not-so-ordinary chef. She’s taken her 30-year career in fashion, which includes experience as executive vice president of New York & Co. Inc, and Gap Inc., and combined it with her love for baking. And voila! A new genre of desserts called couture cakes was born.

Neuville’s baked goods have been featured in the New York Times, O, the Oprah Magazine, Women’s Wear Daily, Vogue.com, InStyle.com, HuffPost Style, and American Cake Decorating, and she’s been hired by everyone including Barneys New York. All of which has earned her the title of The Fashion Chef. With Coffindaffer by her side, Neuville was able to brilliantly capture her creative side in what we hope to be the first of many coffee-table books.
