I am in total agreement with the case against elementary schools assigning excessive homework. As a mother with 4 children, I know how much of a burden this is on the PARENT (notice that I emphasize the Parent, not the child LOL) since elementary level children typically need parental help completing their homework. This has caused me a financial burden of paying for tutors to help them finish their homework since there are simply not enough hours in the pm for me to provide a home cooked meal, drive to and from sports and also help my four children complete their individual assignments.
